New arrival to the Tropical Ecology Group!

Since the 1st of March Celina T. Ben Saadi has been officially incorporated as a PhD student joining the DISPLAMAZ Project (Multiscale analysis of woody plants distribution and dominance patterns in terra firme forests of northwestern Amazonia). Celina has been granted a two year contract by Madrid’s regional government for predoctoral researchers. It is financed jointly by the European Social Fund, through the Youth Employment Operative Program and the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI). This means a step up in her work, as she was hired in 2018 as research technician for the same project, carrying out several field expeditions in Peru in order to colect samples and process them in the lab.

We are very thrilled with this new incorporation to the team and we are looking foward to work together for many years. Congratulations for the contract, Celina!
